Let me know if I can help when you give it a go. I put off trying VR Sketch because it is so close to what I would like to make myself… That Unity logo almost brings a tear to my eye! There is a menu I would like to close and will have to get that figured out. ![]() Installation took less than 5 minutes and I have my model open in VR Sketch. I also started the Oculus app on my PC before sending “Send to VR on Oculus Quest” via the Sketch VR extension menu in SketchUp as that is what fixes the errors with SketchUp Viewer (So not sure that is necessary with VR Sketch). I attempted to “send to VR on this PC” before installing the Oculus Quest 2 app and this did not work (SteamVR error finding headset). Once the VR Sketch for PC extension is installed into SketchUp, you need to install the VR Sketch app from the Meta app store ( ). The extension manager actually says, “Install Extension” not “Install”. One says to click on “Window” rather than “Extensions” in SketchUp (apparently correct for SketchUp Make 2017). There are a couple of simple mistakes in the installation instructions. But the last time I took it to a client meeting it would not work. I have used the thing successfully a few times, so I know it will work. ![]() **I know to save models to the 2019 version since Trimble can’t be bothered to actually make their own software work with the current version, I have spent $1700 on my laptop, $300 on an Oculus Quest 2 with Cable, and a couple hundred a year on Sketchup Pro, and nothing actually works. Nothing I can do actually puts me in the model. Then I put on the headset, and I’m on a white grid. It asks me to click somewhere to lock or locate the model. After I try about five times, the program launches, and it allows me to choose a saved model file. I can’t close the brown screen any other way than to use ctrl-alt-delete to open Task Manager and shut it down. ![]() Most of the time when I launch I get a brown screen that says no VR device is detected. Nothing works with this horrible program. I don’t even know where to start with this.
